This challenge is for readers of all ages and abilities, even children who have not yet begun to read.

Want to make this summer a breeze? Create a parent account to have one username and password for the whole family! Register a parent/caregiver first and then add additional family members.

How it works:

• Register for the Mayor's Summer Reading Challenge.
• Log your completed minutes in your account. Log for yourself, your kids, or everyone! You will be notified when you earn a prize!
• Prizes
  • Prizes are available for pickup only at the main Library on the 1st floor in the Youth area.
  • Babies, toddlers, children, and teens earn a prize at 300, 600, and 1000 minutes read.
  • Children and Teens will automatically be entered into a grand prize drawing.
  • Adults earn a 3D print voucher good for a free 3D print object (10grams or less). For a chance to win one of the three bags of popular and exciting book club books, adults earn an entry at 300, 600, and 1000 minutes read. The more you read, the more chances to win!
• Connect with other readers just like you!
• Visit friscolibrary.com to find great lists full of new reads, comment on books that you love, or follow your favorite librarian to see what they are reading this summer!
• You can show your Mayor's Summer Reading Challenge pride by using #FriscoReads and #FPLSummer!
